The color of leaves on many deciduous trees change when seasons change. The way this happens is by how much sun light the leaves get. Leaves change during different seasons because the chlorophyll that's in the chloroplast slows down the leaves productions of the green color on leaves. Chlorophyll produces the green colors on leaves. Anthocyanins produces the red color on leaves. And carotenoid produces the yellow, orange, and the brown colors on leaves.
